The Qe FADX hybrid cooling unit, one of our Qe Telecom Site Cooling products, unlocks the potential to reduce your Telecom Sites cooling energy consumption with its Fresh Air cooling capability. It does this by decreasing the number of compressor run hours, utilising filtered fresh air to cool your Telecom Sites Telecommunication infrastructure loads when the external ambient air temperatures are most favourable.
Fresh Air Free Cooling, using main fan power only, reduces the units total power consumption (with all compressors) by 80%. The typical availability of Fresh Air Free cooling in Northern Europe is greater than 50%.
Cooling Modes
- Mixed Air Mode Low Temperature outside air is filtered and mixed with warmer room air in the unit and passed into the room to provide low energy / cost cooling capacity.
- Fresh Air Mode Outside air is filtered and passed into the room to provide low energy / cost cooling capacity.
- Dx and FA Mixed Cooling Mode – External fresh air when lower tan the room air temp is Dx mechanically cooled to provide lower energy / cost cooling capacity
- Dx Cooling Mode – Full room recirc air is Dx mechanically cooled utilising the inverter compressors to provide precise cooling capacity to meet heat load condition.
