The Qe CRAC-Glycol precision cooling unit is one of our Qe Data Centre Cooling, energy saving products. This unit unlocks the potential to reduce your data centres cooling energy consumption with its glycol free cooling coil capability, by decreasing the number of compressor run hours.
The Qe CRAC-Glycol unit harnesses the benefit of lower glycol flow, and return temperatures from the dry cooler, to cool your data centre IT infrastructure loads, operating when the external ambient temperatures are most favourable to support glycol free cooling.
Glycol Free Cooling which is powered using main/dry cooler fan and pump power reduces the unites total power consumption (with all compressors) by 60%. The typical availability of Glycol Free cooling in Northern Europe is greater than 25%.
